Raffael Maiani is the founder of Insurebot. He started his career in 1984 as an underwriter in life, accident and health at Zurich, Switzerland. From 1992 to 1999 he was marketing director at Generali, Switzerland. From 2003 to 2004 he was in charge of innovation management at Winterthur Insurance. He built up from scratch two Swiss branches of BNP Paribas Cardif and positioned the company as a benchmark in creditor insurance. He is on the board of a fintech dealing with precious metals, serves as senior advisor to several companies and is Head Europe and Emerging Markets of Marriage Insurance. He is well known worldwide as the insurance innovator by pushing currently the strategic topic of “emotional insuring”.
